Paper-trading decision agent vs. plain buy-and-hold, run against real Alpaca prices and FNSPID historical headlines.
Seven original V1 runs across four configurations, and two corrected V2 reruns (#45, #71). Each is scored against buy-and-hold over its own window — two of these windows differ by two trading days, which is enough to move the baseline by $66.80.

Daily price (IEX feed) with every non-HOLD call the Portfolio Manager made: the close for original runs, and for corrected runs the open each trade filled at. Marker shape carries the signal, not just color.
From 2026-09-08 the Sentiment Analyst emits a continuous −1.0…+1.0 tone score instead of a BUY/HOLD/SELL vote. The earlier design said HOLD on 96.8% of calls, which is why every model trained to imitate it collapsed to a constant. This chart is the check that the replacement did not do the same thing.
What each node actually called, before the Risk Manager's veto/scale/approve gate — the check that caught the silent-sentiment bug.
